The Success of the Monte-Carlo Watch & Jewels Exhibition 2026

Exactly one year after its successful debut, the Principality of Monaco has once again transformed into the world capital of high-end collecting.

On April 11 and 12, 2026, the highly anticipated second edition of the event took place. Building on its previous success, the exhibition refreshed its look this year with a brand-new name: welcome to the Monte-Carlo Watch & Jewels Exhibition. Writing now that the convention has concluded, we can say with certainty: the event exceeded all expectations, confirming that the bet placed by its young Italian organizers has now become a solid, unmissable fixture on the Monegasque calendar.

The Evolution: Not Just Hands, But Jewels Too

The first major novelty of 2026 was opening its doors to the world of vintage jewels and fine jewelry. The halls of the Hotel Le Méridien Beach Plaza—confirmed once again as the stunning beachfront setting on Avenue Princesse Grace—hosted not only the ticking of the rarest timepieces but also the brilliance of precious stones and timeless goldsmith creations.

The winning formula remained the same: free admission and complete openness to the general public, allowing curious visitors, enthusiasts, and major investors to move freely among the desks of Europe’s top dealers.

A Signature Surprise: Stefanos Tsitsipas' Photography Exhibition

The truly unexpected gem of this edition, which seamlessly blended sport, luxury, and aesthetic sensibility, was the presence of an exceptional art gallery inside the fair.

Visitors to Le Méridien Beach Plaza were able to admire the personal photography exhibition of Greek athlete Stefanos Tsitsipas, evocatively titled “Stefanos Tsitsipas – Monaco Watch & Jewels by Stefano.” The tennis champion—who wrote historic chapters of his career right on the red clay of the neighboring Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters and is a frequent visitor to the Principality—revealed his profound talent behind the lens to the public.

The gallery featured a selection of artistic, intimate, and personal shots taken by Tsitsipas during his travels around the world and his stays in Monaco. It was an exhibition that celebrated the beauty of the Principality through the eyes of one of its most beloved residents and sportsmen, adding a touch of vibrant contemporary culture to the event.

An Elite Weekend Between the Fair and the Red Clay

Once again this year, timing proved to be the cornerstone of a truly electrifying atmosphere. The exhibition perfectly coincided with the crucial final stages of the prestigious tennis tournament that draws the international jet-set to the Principality.

Sunday, April 12
was the highlight of the weekend.

An extraordinary atmosphere could be felt between the elite crowd filling the tennis grandstands and the collectors hunting for rarities in the halls of Le Méridien. Many visitors experienced an exceptional Sunday, dividing their time between the matches on the clay courts and negotiations to secure unique vintage pieces, hard-to-find modern watches, and collectible jewelry.

Figures and a Consolidated Format

The schedule perfectly paced the weekend’s activities:

  • Saturday, April 11: Open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a steady flow of visitors from the early morning hours.

  • Sunday, April 12: Open from 10:00 AM until closing time at 6:00 PM, marking the peak in attendance thanks to the concurrent sporting events in the city.

The presence of the industry’s most important dealers guaranteed an incredibly high standard of quality. Compared to the 2025 edition, there was a noticeable increase in both the value of the pieces on display and commercial transactions, proving how incredibly receptive the Monaco market is to this type of niche event dedicated to luxury.

A Bet Unquestionably Won

While last year the talk was about an ambitious debut, the 2026 edition of the Monte-Carlo Watch & Jewels Exhibition has sealed the event’s definitive maturity. The ability to bring watchmaking and jewelry together under one roof proved to be a winning intuition, capable of attracting an even more diverse and demanding audience.

The lights have gone down on the halls of Le Méridien, but the shared feeling among dealers and collectors is unanimous: the April appointment in Monaco is now an unmissable tradition.
